Hello, all.

I have a question for all you Moonlighting fans.

What's your favorite episode???

As I've said before, I've only been a fan for a couple years, and since I only have one episode of Moonlighting on tape, I really don't remember many of them. I DO know that "A Womb with a View" was one of my favorites, though! I've been hopping Moonlighting sites, and a lot of them have said that "Big Man on Mulberry Street" was probably the best episode of all time. I don't really remember that one! :( I wish I had it on tape! :)

Anyway, voice your opinion...gimme some answers! I'm curious. In your eyes, I wanna know the best of Moonlighting! :D

Later.

*sigh* Sadly, no reruns. :( But we're working on the DVDs! :D

I changed my mind...my new favorite episode is "Maddie Hayes Got Married." I love the scene in the hospital when all those people kept showing up!

I have stated this many times before, so I won't bore ya with too many details, but my very favorite episode is "To Heiress Human" which is the season finale for season three.... This is the episode that occurs right after "I am Curious...Maddie"

I just love this episode for a couple of reasons.... first, it is downright sexy, even naughty and has just wonderful interactions between Maddie and David; and second, I love the client (Margart Kendell) and her case of trying to find proof that her boyfriend who has asked her to marry him loves her. All the discussions of love, romance, etc. richly resonate with Maddie and David's situation to the tee.

There are just some great scenes full of humor, conflict, and pathos in this episode....

And my second favorite episode is indeed Big Man on Mulberry Street. I remember the first time I saw it back in late 1986, it blew me away. That long dance scene in the middle of the episode that is Maddie's dream is an amazing thing to watch. It was also just a very well conceived episode in that how it sets up David's irresponsibility counterposed against the situation that reveals his true honorable, responsible nature concerning his past marriage. I remember the first time I saw this episode being as shocked as Maddie was when she learned he had been married before.

The two monologues that occur in this episode.....first Maddie's in the hotel room as she tries to explain to David why she has followed him to NYC without revealing her true feelings is just so well done by Cybill. It seemed so natural and real. Then there is David's moving monologue wherein he explains his past early marriage. Bruce just delivers a sincere, honest performance in this scene....his line delivery and body language are just the real thing.

I think that Big Man is one of the finest written and acted episodes in all of Moonlighting.

My God, Cindy, now I couldn't feel worse about not having this episode on tape. It's been forever since I've seen it, but I do remember it a bit...indeed one of the best.

I love "To Heiress Human" also. I didn't realize how much I loved it until Cindy wrote about it on another site. I re-watched it a couple of times and loved it more each time I watched it. Plus that final scene in the car was sooooooooooo good. They just couldn't keep their hands off of each other. It's terrific.

I'm going to pick 10 favorites (my top 10 changes often) from today.

In no particular order:

1. Atomic Shakespeare
2. To Heiress Human
3. Symphony In Knocked Flat
4. The Straight Poop
5. A Womb With A View
6. I Am Curious, Maddie
7. The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice
8. Those Lips, Those Eyes (I know - it's a shocker to most)
9. Sam & Dave
10.Maddie's Turn To Cry

I have so many others -- maybe we should have a category of episodes we did not like -- that might be easier.
Many episodes have scenes that I truly love but I don't like the entire episode. It's so hard to pick just a few.:happyface
