This board appears to have been dead for quite awhile now!
Maybe I can get something going here!?
I remember the series while growing up in the 70's. I recently downloaded the theme song from a music sharing site, ( hopefully I won't get sued by RIA )! That song always brings back alot of good memories. It's hard to believe that song was a "single" record and actually got air time on local radio stations. ( "Single" is a 45 rpm record that spun around a contraption called a turntable, there probably aren't alot of people out there that remember 45's, let alone regular vinyl albums, damn I feel old! ).
I remember watching HCB on Sat. nights, 9:00 - 10:00. I've seen it on syndication years ago, (early/mid 80's + or -), but haven't seen it since.
I remember some of the sets of the show like I just saw them yesterday! The Bolt Bros. cabin, Capt. Clancy's ship, Lottie's saloon, the brides dorm., etc...
It also seemed like they all seemed to wear the same clothes from episode to episode. I guess back in those days though, nobody was worried about making fashion statements.
I sure would like to discuss HCB w/ anyone interested.
