With the second anniversary of 9/11 this week, I was wondering if there has been an update on the disappearance of Dr. Sneha Philip. She went missing the night before the terror attacks and was last seen shopping for clothes at a store near the World Trade Center. Her case was profiled on UM last summer. America's Most Wanted also did a segment on another NYC woman who worked in one of the WTC towers and went missing shortly after the attacks. She called her family that morning to tell them she had gotten out of the building and was okay but she was never seen or heard from again. I checked the AMW website but could not find any information on her. Both of these cases really concerned me and I was hoping someone had some updated information.

This case upsets me too. I was reading about it the other day (cant remember where) and what baffels me is WHO was that other girl she was shopping with that was never identified but seen on a surveillance camera? AGH!

While it has been speculation that she may have perished during the 9/11 attacks, there is still no official confirmation as to whether she is alive or dead. But if she has been found, chances are, the link to her profile would have been either updated to verify this, or removed altogether. So to this day, she is still officially a missing person. :(
