I was reading CNN's online news stories today, and found an interesting behind-the-scenes story concerning John Ritter....

CNN interviewed Suzanne Sommers, who had been on the "outs" with Ritter for years following her leaving "Three's Company".

It's common knowledge that Ritter and Sommers had reconciled recently and had "made their peace".
Suzanne said that she is SO glad that they reconciled as friends, because if they hadn't, John's passing would have been absolutely UNBEARABLE for her....

The story then mentioned that the reconciliation was prompted by John's wife AMY YASBECK, who convinced both Ritter and Sommers that it was time to "bury the hatchet" and settle their differences.

Wouldn't you just KNOW that an admirable gesture like that would come from a "Wings" cast member?

yeah, I heard that story on TV yesterday. I forgot which show it was, but it was like, "Entertainment Tonight" or something, and they had Suzanne Somers on the phone, and they asked her about John Ritter, and their friendsip, and Suzanne said that a couple of years ago she was at some thing, and she was in the ladies room, and Amy Yasbeck was in there and saw her, and said to her, "you have to go talk to John!" and practically dragged her out of the ladies room to go talk to him.
