Game Show Network Pays Tribute to Actor John Ritter With Special Programming Featuring Some of His Funniest Game Show Appearances
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 12 -- John Ritter, who gained stardom in the sitcom "Three's Company," was also a hilarious game show contestant who appeared on several popular game shows over the years. In memory of Ritter and his work, Game Show Network (GSN) is programming special episodes featuring Ritter from GSN's vast collection of classic game shows.
The special Ritter episodes will air during the network's FAMILY FEUD block on Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 AM - Noon ET / 6:00 - 9:00 AM PT.
The Ritter tribute includes shows from when he was a contestant on FAMILY FEUD, HOLLYWOOD SQUARES and THE DATING GAME:
9:00 AM FAMILY FEUD
First nighttime special originally seen in 1978, the show features the casts of "Three's Company," "Love Boat," "Eight is Enough" and "Soap."
10 - 11:30 AM HOLLYWOOD SQUARES
Episodes are from 2001 and also feature celebrities Monique, Brad Garrett, Dyan Cannon, Jeffrey Tambor, Stephen Collins, Terry Farrell, Vivica A. Fox and Whoopi Goldberg
