View Full Version : Did anyone else see this episode
redmangreed 09-12-2003, 10:14 PM First to the administrators, this is a serious post I really saw this episode, no one has every believed me, and its been about 10-15yrs I really need some validation on this.
When I was about 10 or younger I saw a Three's Company episode where the three of them played strip poker in there kitchen. Both women had their tops off; their breast were not covered. John Ritter was so upset with the whole thing that he walked off the set in the middle of filming and got into a limo right before he got into the limo he pulled a sock out of his crotch and handed it to the doorman. Wondering if anyone else saw it too, NO ONE BELIEVES THAT THIS HAPPENED.
GoofyLucy 09-12-2003, 10:27 PM Oh, puuuuleeeeeeeeese!!! Yeah right, they filmed and showed on TV an episode where strip poker is being played with the women's breast completely uncovered. Right. And you actually "saw" such an episode??? Don't think so. As for the rest of your post, :censored:
David 09-12-2003, 10:27 PM hm. my post wont help at all, but all i can say is that... in Season 4 "Snow Job", Jack, Larry, Lana, Furley play strip poker.. in Mr.furley's apartment...

This is true, but it never showed the women bare breasted. Maybe during rehearsals they joked around and did it, but aired on TV, I think not! The ending was funny how Mr. Furley came out and a cop showed up. He was going to be put in handcuffs which would have meant he would have had to drop what he was holding covering himself up and Mr. Furley moans to the officer "have a heart!!!" :D
redmangreed 09-12-2003, 10:44 PM Goofylucy, I am glad you were there with me when it happened so that you could call me a liar about. Heres A big NYC MIDDLE FINGER FOR YOU. Bet if you and I were talking to Columbus in 1493 you'd tell him the world is flat and that he did not sail anywhere, please grow up!!! Seriously I cant believe you would be so childish. Anything else you dont believe in because, you the almight arbitrator of all truth past, present and future, did not see it! Bet you like deriding little kids when they say something that seems improbable. I wish I could slap you across the face right now, serious not to be redundant but please for the love of God grow up!
As to SomerCompany, I have seen the one where they played in the Mr. Ropers apartment, in the one I am talking about it was in there kitchen, the two women really seemed to not have a problem with but like I said John walked off the set.
beckyc 09-14-2003, 12:53 AM I think you might have been dreaming redmangreed. Not to be mean, but i agree with goofylucy. They would never show nudity on network tv.

Wow, there's that good ole NY hospitality(or should it be attitude instead?). That whole post-9/11 generosity lasted all of 2 days. It's no wonder so many people hate us Americans.

Mr. Television 09-14-2003, 02:02 AM That episode never happened. The only strip poker game was in Ralph Furley's apartment.
Beyotch Knowles 09-14-2003, 02:25 AM The bare cleavage didn't happen, but John Ritter unwittingly exposed himself on one episode. (Was he wearing a hospital gown or something?). And it went unnoticed for years until a viewer complained after seeing it on Nick at Nite. Nick at Nite removed the footage from the episode. When the press asked John Ritter for a comment, he said he regretted their editing it because "sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't". This story was in the news either last year or the year before.

rlm1626 09-14-2003, 08:20 PM Yeah, i think that episode aired right after the episode of Gilligan's Island where Mary Ann asked me to marry her.
redmangreed 09-16-2003, 08:18 PM all of you either dont read well or lack long term thought processes. First Off I stated that I saw the one where they played in apartment. Second I stated that this poker game was played in the Three's kitchen. Thirdly, it was only John Ritter and the two other main women. FOURTH, I dont care what you THINK, I am stating truth and seeking such.
I did not say hey anyone think this happened? I asked if anyone else saw it, because I did and it was on the TV. granted super early in the morning. So I am not after what YOU THINK happened.
DetectiveGriffin 09-16-2003, 08:59 PM a long time ago, when 3s company was on the air, there was a tape circulating, with somewhat "look alike" actors . well, wait, i cant remember if its a porno, or just a dirty parody, but yeah, people were naked in it. there were a couple different ones for different
situation comedies at the time, just send-offs with look alikes. If you were very young when you saw this, you may have remembered it wrong. My older brother had all kinds of stuff like that when i was little. kentucky fried movie and lots of that kind of stuff.

redmangreed 09-16-2003, 11:36 PM it was not a porno, it was on TV. I turn on the TV and thought "damn Three's Company is on ohh...boobbies maybe i'll keep watching."
And Mr. Roper, really it never happened? and how do you suppose that?

dlemond 09-17-2003, 12:18 AM If it was an episode of Three's Company how could John Ritter walk off to a limo (and be filmed)?
Besides, there was definitely no bare breasts shown.
(no shirts and chest shown right above the breasts maybe).
And yeah, that is a fact.
Mr. Television 09-17-2003, 12:22 AM They couldn't even say certain cuss words on tv in the 1970's and definately no nudity.

redmangreed 09-17-2003, 07:48 PM your right i did miss something; the record button on the vcr. but what I do remeber are two huge boobs and two more that were plesant. and John ritter walking off the set.
So they couldnt show nudity, any of you people watch Deep Space Nine???? Did you see the one where the two women frenched kissed? Maybe I am just furtunate enough to see the things on TV that everyone wishes they saw
SOME DAY, DAMN YOU ALL, I WILL BE VINDICATED.
dlemond 09-17-2003, 08:23 PM These episodes were not live, so how could you see him walk off the set.
Think about it.

If there is such and episode there should be some information out there about it so why dont you go find it and prove it.
redmangreed 09-20-2003, 01:47 AM how could i see him walk off the set.....its called a camera. Ok, here is what happens the three of them are sitting there half naked, John Ritter is disgusted that the women are showing there breast, he puts down his cards walks of the set, as he walks out of the studio he pulls a sock out of his crotch and hands it to the door man person(some one dressed up like a bellhop) who I am pretty sure is Gordon Knight, but I know I recognized him from WKRP, then John gets in a limo.
Now I have looked up Gordon Knight and a comeo on Three's Company has not surfaced.
And to Crimson...sure its out there but every since this happened I have told only four friends who all see BS, one friend who was talking to another person I told said "Is he still telling that story" I had told the first friend not too long after this first happened. I hoped that on this message boards someone might know something.

I am assuming that you are referring to Gordon JUMP who played Mr. Carlson on WKRP. If so, he never made an appearance on Three's Company.

AngelofLaughter 09-20-2003, 12:16 PM There's a possibility wut u saw was a spoof of Three's Company on a channel that allows nudity like HBO or Bravo. Maybe it was a movie or show making fun of them and since u were younger u didnt notice. And why would they air an episode where John leaves the set? It's called editing. Okay.
Big3sCompanyFan 09-20-2003, 12:40 PM There is no way even today you could show a topless girl on network TV. So, redmangreed poster, there are 3 possibiities:
1. You dreamt this so strongly you don't realize it's a dream
2. You were hallucinating---seeing things that aren't there
3. You saw a spoof on a cable channel but it would have to be a pay cable channel since only they can show nudity---like HBO, Showtime, etc.
Redmangreed, do you have any history of schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders?
redmangreed 09-20-2003, 05:14 PM Sorry about that meant Gordon Jump; it was someone who later appeared on WKRP. And why it would not show up as an appearance on a biography, the appearance was for less that 30 seconds.
And NO it was not Bravo, i would say bravo did not exist at the time.
No, it was not a spuff from someother station. It was the actual Three's Company cast.
Although I had just woken up, I was not dreaming.
Frankly I hate Three's Company, and never liked John Ritter until "Problem Child", and the only thing I have ever liked about Three's COmpany was the fact that I saw two sets of breast on it.
AngelofLaughter 09-20-2003, 05:35 PM How dare you come to a Three's Company site and say such a thing? Even tho you may not like him or TC, we do and are dedicated fans so I suggest you leave this forum because there is no place here for people with such cruelty! If I could reach you, I'd give you the biggest pounding of your life! Stupid bastaldo.
I Love John

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, OR ARE YOU JUST THAT IGNORANT THAT YOU DON'T EVEN REALIZE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING. YOU ARE UPSETTING ALOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS SITE. WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE IF YOU AREN'T A FAN. ARE YOU JUST TRYING TO GET A RISE OUT OF US? GET A FRIGGIN LIFE LOSER. YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE ONE IF YOU HAVE TO WATCH A COMEDY SHOW TO GET YOUR SEX THRILLS. FREAK!!!!!! AWE, WHAT'S THE MATTER CAN'T GET ANY GIRLS IN REAL LIFE. FREAK FREAK FREAK FREAK FREAK!!!!
Montanya427 09-21-2003, 02:30 AM They made a spoof of the show in the movie "Stayed Tuned" and John Ritter was in the spoof as well as the movie, are you sure you were not watching this? It may have seemed like the show since it was a spoof using John Ritter, and if you were not a loyal fan and viewer of the show you may have mistook the girls in the spoof for being the girls in the show itself.
But I do not think that any show (not including those on pay channels) in the 70's would allow an airing of bare breasts, and if they did more of us would know about it. The airing of the slip up that showed a split second flash of John Ritter exposing himself was not caught for several years and if so many people caught something that quick and that unintentional don't you think that people would remember seeing something so out there like 2 women bare chested at a kitchen table? I think that it would be hard by todays standard to get away with completely showing a bare chested woman I believe the most I have seen off of the pay channels are the asses of a few actors/actresses and those clips are quick and still cause talk today (NYPD for example was made a big deal of when they showed bare butt flash)

lilface23, do you lack dedcutive reasoning? Oh dont know what that means get a dictionary, oh dont know what that is either well maybe you and Angle could share rides.
No sh#t you are fans here, that is exactly why I have come here...deductive reason to begin.....3.....2.....1.....Now:
You are all fans of Three's Company.
Fans of Three's Company probably have seen all the episodes.
If fans saw all episode maybe they saw the one I am talking about.
I will ask fans of Three's Company if they have seen the episode in question.
I found a Three's Company message board.
I asked a question.
I get responses from three stupid b@#$%s.
I dont have to be a fan of Three's Company, I still hate the damn show, its amazing that being younger than 10 I developed such a loathing for Three's Company. But despite the fact that the show ended almost 20 years ago and you and angle still live vicariously through it, I did not come here and call you names for liking a show I DESPISE. No; I respected this site from the beginning. So go back to the my first response and get your NYC middle finger.

YOU ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT THE SHOW, YOU GOT YOUR ANSWER "NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT" SO WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT? OH AND BY THE WAY, HOW OLD ARE YOU? I MEAN THAT COMMENT TO ANGLEOFLAUGHTER, "MAKE ME......" YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!! I THINK WE ARE ALL DONE WITH YOU HERE SO, SERIOUSLY, WHY ARE YOU STILL POSTING ON THE FORUM? AngelofLaughter 09-21-2003, 09:15 PM First of all, it's ANGEL of laughter, referring to John and second of all, who the hell do you think you are? You have no idea what kind of authority any of us or I could have. You asked a question and we answered it but you refused to believe our answers. We're the true fans here by trying to answer your question politely. If you hate it, don't come back! After the death of such a loved actor you'd think you'd see more respect to him and his show but instead you see cursing adolescents trying to show off how many vulgar words they can put in one sentence. I personally don't care what you do as long as you don't disrespect the dead. Because if you do, you'll have to deal with me.
redmangreed 09-21-2003, 10:27 PM OHHHHH you've got shaking in my brithces and peeing in my pants, please dont hurt me.
Are you going to do anything about your IDLE threats.
Also, explain to me, because I really am missing something here, how is calling me a stupid bastard and then sending a private message calling me a bastard again being polite?????
Please, all wise and powerful Angleoflaughter, expalin yourself? You have not tried to be polite.
You insulted me from the start, maybe its just your guido Norhteast mentality.
You using the word polite to describe your actions just goes to show how pathetic you truly are.
And you also did not answer any question presented, you ranted and raved about how much of a bastard I am, and frankly I grew up hearing that from my own mother so hearing it from someone hidding behind a keyboard really means nothing.
SO please dont insult everyone else on the board by trying to be their representative

this thread is hilarious. anyway what you probably saw was a parody of that scene in TC where they play strip poker in Furley's apartment. no way would they show topless women on network tv, or that sock thing... also no episode would show Jack walking off the set and talking out of character, that doesnt make sense. You either saw this on HBO or Showtime or are making it up and being a troll.
AngelofLaughter 09-22-2003, 05:31 PM I'm like peeing laughing at this thing. Some people r so touchy! I heart TC!
