barwars 09-12-2003, 08:21 PM I cant help but wondering, why do I like certain shows, that I don't think are that laugh-out-loud funny?
Shows like....
Saved By The Bell
and The Brady Bunch.
I dont understand why I like them, but I do.
Are there any shows that you cant explain the attraction to?
Any shows that you have no understanding of why you like them?

For me it's shows like "Junkyard Wars," or "Monster Garage" or some of the car shows on Spike TV on the weekends.
I really can't 'splain it. I like watching folks build stuff.

Yeah. I had crushes on both John Stamos and Mark Paul Gosselaar, so I loved watching FH and SBTB.
Penny Lane 09-29-2003, 10:41 AM A lot of people can't understand my attraction to Mama's Family and Roseanne. I think what it is, is that they become so familiar that the characters turn into old friends and that the sets feel comfortable and almost like home.

I admit that the show was corny and inconsistent lots of times, but it's my favorite show and that's what counts. :D
Chocoholic 09-29-2003, 03:08 PM I never knew why I liked Everybody Loves Raymond. The writing and acting are great, but the characters are so unlikeable. None of them seem to have anything nice to say about each other. I rarely watch in syndication and I don't plan on watching this season. I'm done loving "Raymond".
