Being that yesterday was 9/11, I thought that I would pay a private tribute and take some time surfing the net to find out some information on one of "Wings" creators, David Angell, who perished (along with his wife) on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center.

I discovered that Mr. and Mrs. Angell were on that plane returning from a family wedding.....in CAPE COD, MASS.

I just thought that that was strangely ironic, given the setting of "Wings".

Back when it happened I also heard that they had moved to California, and that part of the trip was to bring back their pet/pets with them. Very sad.

I think it was pretty ironic how someone who created a TV show about an airport died in a plane crash.

I didn't even think about 9/11 this year because my Nana was dying. We had her wake last Thursday on the 11th. I did ask the priest to say a few words for the victims and their families though.
