After me and Amanda got home from Wal-Mart etc. we went back to her house to play cards. Well, at about 8pm we heard LOUD screeches all the way up from Main St. above the hill and heard them coming around and then it stopped. Then Dave was like.. theres been an accident! So me and Amanda run outside to see what happened. Meangya, the car slammed into their field fence (their house fence has been hit 4 times within the past 5 years) and we're watching from the front steps. The guy got out since he couldnt back out because he was stuck and started walking-- not running. I ran inside and got a pen and paper and Dave kept telling Diana, who was on the phone with her mother, to hang up and call 911. We go back outside and get a closer look and cars from both ends are getting P.O'd because they have to go around the car. Boo hoo, CBS. :rolleyes: Then Karen- their next door neighbor says she was scared to death then another truck comes along and says he was on the other side of the road and that the car was soo close to him and almost hit him so he went straight to the cops too. He also said that @ Gortons the guy pulled right up about a foot away from the door. Undercover cops come and start looking for the guy, then finally.. the cops come. Meangya, they had their blues on and traffic was kinda backed up on the other side of the road and a truck beeped at the car in front of him so the cop flashed him. Stupid people. Since me & Amanda were key witnesses, we had to write down everything down and give our numbers in case we need to be contacted. The car got towed blah blah blah.. then Amanda wanted to go down in the field by the barn and look around so I went down with her- meangya her flashlight did nothing. Then we decided to go driving so we went down all the local roads. Something tells us that the neighbors across the street know something because theyre kinda young and pulled up later on- plus one year they stole Dianas kiddy pool for the ducks..:crazy: The car was labeled as stolen since their were NO plates on at all. Meh, Ive always said I wanted to see an accident-- although I didnt actually get to see the crash. Had we did, we wouldve had a better description. The guy (19-23) never looked back.. probably so we couldnt get his face, but I wanted to so bad scream something like Hey! I see you or whatever. If it was broad daylight we couldve walked down, but it was 8pm and dark. The guy still hasnt been found (to our knowledge) so who knows whats gonna happen.

I got a call last week from the town of Danville telling me that the court date had been postponed (I didnt even know they caught the guy) and that when they re-schedule I have to go and testify. Anyone have to do that before? Im excited I get to do it, but I dont do good in front of an audience.:o
