Has anyone ever been there? I'm going there for a trip with my chorale(honor choir) in April and I was just wondering what it's like.

I've been there before......and it's pretty nice up there. I've stopped at the Madison Square Garden, Times Square, and Rockafeller Plaza. Plus, I have some relatives that live up there.

Ive been there. Didnt see much. I was only there for a day. It was the day before that big snow storm. Very cold, I fainted. The main thing I saw was cops.

I hate it. I despise going into the city.

I like to visit the city all the time. I like to see Little Italy with lots of Italian imagrents in it which basically got that idea from the "Lizzie McGuire Movie". I like to see Brooklyn. I missed it since my brother, Brian moved out last year. I missed Henry St. and I missed the Carroll St. Station which they got that idea from "Get A Clue" with Lindsay Lohan from "Freaky Friday". Here's a picture of a night time in Brooklyn. I know the image is big enough to see.

Good luck!

I've been there a few times. What a culture shock. I think it's great!! We went there one year for the Macy's parade and froze our patooties off. Then we went there a few summers ago and saw David Letterman and Pete Sampras playing tennis outside the Ed Sullivan Theater. It was part of the show, of course. The best news is we're going again in November and we're going to see Late Night with Conan O'Brien!!!!! I am beyond excited!!!!!!I got a reservation at the Milford Plaza Hotel on W.45th St., only 6 blks from Rockefeller Center(and about 1/2 block from Times Square), and we're staying 2 nights. I'm excited but I'm terrified about driving my vehicle into Manhattan. Could've found another alternate form of transportation because we plan on walking in the city, but what the heck. I'll probably never ever do this again in my life!!
