My thoughts:

~ Gidget > Flying Nun but since they show so little of the episodes, I guess it's okay. Maybe "The Donna Reed Show" or "Hazel" or something could be there in November... just a thought

~ STOP with the repeat box sets

~ Nice to see "Andy Griffith", "Bewitched", and "Mister Ed" marathons. It seems like "Bewitched" is doing really well for TV Land which makes me happy and I'm glad "Mister Ed" is finally getting a proper marathon because they did nothing when it arrived this month

~ Halloween is okay, but they coulda shown Halloween episodes of shows, there are ones of "Bewitched", "Andy Griffith", "I Dream of Jeannie", "Leave it to Beaver", "Dick Van Dyke", etc

~ I'll be looking forward to WKRP on ET in TV Land

Overall, great month!

My thoughts:

~ Don't add The Flying Nun nor keep Gidget in the Twice as Nice, instead bring back Happy Days, Dennis the Menace, or I Love Lucy to the block. They will definitely serve as better entertainment shows.

~ Give Andy a break, he's been on TV Land too much already. Ditch that marathon and give us a marathon of those rare screen gems classics such as Dennis the Menace.

~ I'm not impressed with TV Land's programming over Halloween. What they should have done was given us a marathon of The Munsters since the show fits well in the catergory of Halloween. Plus, TV Land will lose the rights to that show by June of next year.

~ As always, I suggest they move I Love Lucy back to the 9:00 primeslot.

~ Last but certainly not least, I urge TV Land to add The Lucy Show to their line-up. It is such a great show with a fine cast of big-name guests such as George Burns, Bob Hope, John Wayne, among many others as well as great situation comedy that show off the many (other) talents of Lucille Ball, Vivian Vance, Gale Gordon, and Mary Jane Croft. This show is not to be missed because it's really one of those true classics of the 1960's era.

Getting rid of Gidget already? Hmmmm.

I really want to see the WKRP thing, though. :D

I love the fact that they are replacing "Gidget" with "The Flying Nun." The entire run of "Gidget" has been aired at least four times throughout its stay at TVLand so far, and it has no place being in Twice as Nice, because the show only has 32 episodes. "The Flying Nun" would fit in perfectly between "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Mister Ed" (followed by "Bewitched") because it would mean that there would be a nice fantasy block of shows from 2pm to 6pm. I like that idea, personally. I hope they get around to show all of "Nun" because them showing the same thirtysomething episodes is going to get annoying.....the show had 83 for Christ's sake!

I can't wait to see the Willie Mays episode of "The Donna Reed Show". I wish they would add Donna to Twice as Nice or at least to Better Living Through Television.

I agree with the person above who posted about The Lucy Show.
I wish TVLand would pick up the rights to this and Here's Lucy as well. I always thought Here's Lucy was Lucille Ball's best series, but then I love shows from the late 1960's. I liked The Lucy Show alot as well, especially the episode where Lucy dates Dean Martin. That was a riot !!

Ooooooh, I just hate BW so much. How about equal time for IDJ? Hey let's turn darrin into a witch, let's turn him into a pig, hmmm, what other animal can we turn him into? Or, let's go back in time, or remedy curses that all of a sudden develop. Let's have a mean old #### to constantly want to inflict harm and death to her son-in-law, oh that's so funny! Let's deal with hillarious topics such as racism and drug abuse! Hahahahaha, people love serious episodes, they're so funny!!! Oh and let's make the two leads so uninteresting, boring and bland while we're at it! And how about that LM, she looks pretty, perhaps even ravishing at times in the b&w episodes, but once the show went into color she really did look like a witch.

Before everyone replies angrilly to my post, I just wanted to add that I know that people like BW and I understand that, but don't get mad at me for having an opinion. There are opinions here all the time that I disagree with.

Excellent Point .... The episodes they are airing aren't even Halloween episodes, and no Munsters ... stupid move!
