If you had the power to create a character to be added to the Cheers cast who would it be?
What would they look like?
How would they act?

Umm i would have to create a character that was a mix between diane and rebecca, but with a little bit of carla in there. she would be smart, but not as condescending as diane, and not as clumsy as rebecca. but she'd know how to handle herself around carla, and carla would like her. i mean not like be friends with her but like her enough. she would be athletic but not too athletic. she'd be lonely and that's why she comes to the bar, but she never drinks anything. she's not overly pretty but enough so that she quickly catches sam's eye (well what women doesn't catch sam's eye). she would be competition for diane, even though she doesn't really like sam at first (well niether rebecca or diane at first). she would eventually be hired at the bar when she looses her job at wherever she used to work, and it would turn out that she's a very good waitress. blah blah blah, idk what else she would do but making up that was fun! :)

Sam Jr. I very handsome young man who could probably get any girl he wanted, but instead is into his books. Which by the way, irratates Sam to high hell.

Since I've always wanted Sam and Diane to get married and have kids, I'd add a kid between them.

My create-a-character would be an African-American women named Laura Gordon. She would be very young, about 26, and she would stir-up the Sam and Diane relationship (This is if Shelley Long would've stayed with the series). Sam would hire her as a waitress when Diane went off to write her book, and when she returns in 6 months, finds Sam and Laura in love.
She would be very smart, but not "overly smart" like Diane. She would be a great athlete, which really brings her and Sam together.
By the end of the 6th season (IF Diane stayed), Sam and Laura would break up, but remain friends, as she still needed to work in the bar.

Carla and Laura would be friends, that work together to get Diane out of Sam's life.

Laura would come into the series as Frasier's secretary.
She would keep Norm and Cliff up to date on the young culture of America, and teach Woody how to survive on his own in a big city.

Tim, when you grow up, work in television. You have such awesome ideas for stuff. I think you would have a future in it for sure.

I would create a new owner named A.J. Williams who is a comedian and a crossover between Woody and Norm but he's goin to be African American.

Since the guys out number the girls on the show, I think a female character would be in order. Maybe she could be co-owner of Melville's upstairs and she could give them a hard time like John did. She could be named Lynn with a Roz Doyle type personality.
