Is anyone else excited about this show?

I'm a fan of Norm MacDonald. I'm also big fan of "Newhart". Since this show is being produced by Barry Kemp, it could do very well in capturing some of the spirit of "Newhart" while refitting the premise to fit Norm's comedy.

Plus, even if the show fails, you have to admire the idea of doing a show like this now. We've seen lots of shows in the last decade try to be the next "Seinfeld" and "Friends". But we haven't seen a show try to do the married couple moves from New York to a small town full of odd locals premise since, well, 1990.

I liked Norm Macdonald in 'Norm" but it got cancelled. I'm also very distrustful of Fox who cancelled a few shows I like. I'm afraid if I watch this show, Fox will treat it badly especially when American Idol returns.

I can't wait, I love Norm Macdonald.

Im really looking foward to this show. I love Norm MacDonald and Im glad hes returining to primetime where he deserves.:)
