My Nana is very sick and not expected to live more than a couple of days :crying: She had Alzheimer's for the past several years and had a couple of strokes over the weekend. We were very close when I was growing up. I just feel so distraught right now. :crying: I want my Nana! :mad: :( :crying:

This is one of the least pleasant aspects of life - the death of loved ones. It has happened to me. The only thing that seems to make it at all better is the passage of time. I can only say that I am deeply sorry this is happening to your Nana and you. I wish you the best of luck.

awww im so sorry. My grandma is sick too but she tries to be strong dispite the fact that she only has a few years left. I hope you can stay strong and get love and support from your family in these hard times. :bighug:

im so sorry, i know what it's like to lose someone you're really close to. my mom died a year ago from cancer but i know that being in heaven is better than being sick.

That is awful, I'll keep her and you're family in my prayers. My nanny died 8 years ago so i know how you feel. I miss her alot.

I'm very sorry to hear that! One of my grandmas unfortunately died a year before I was even born. I never got to know her, but my other grandma is alive and well. I'm sure you had some good memories with her though.

Aw, Im so sorry...your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I've lost all four of my grandparents in the past 7 years. Two of which practically raised me, so I know how rough it is losing a grandparent.
One of my grandmothers had Alzheimers and died of a stroke later. For the last few months before she died she would ask me about my sister (I'm an only child) and its really a sad thing to have to witness.

:hug: I hope your Grandmother makes it through. Mine was sick back in April/May and was expected not to live past a week.. but she made it through and is doing fine now. :) My thoughts and sympathy are with you during these troubled times. @-->-->----

I'm sorry for you Kristen! Losing a loved one is SO difficult!All you can do now is to be with her as much as you can and tell her that you love her! :(

I'm so sorry to hear about this. :( I know exactly what you're going to and it's very hard. But you always have us here at SO to help you if you ever need it.

I'm so sorry! My nana is in a nursing home, and it is so hard to watch her get frail and lose her mind, so to speak.

I hope she pulls through. If not though, she'll be going to a better place and will be the nana you remember in your heart. :hug:

Thanks you so much for your kind words, guys. :bighug: Nana is still hanging on, but barely. I wen't to see her last night, and it was awful! She can't talk anymore. She was lying there in pain, her mouth wide open :crying: I started crying when I saw her like that. She's a wonderful woman and doesn't deserve to suffer like that. I hope that God will take her home very soon.

Yeah, we're all here for you.

I'm so deeply sorry for your loss, but now she's in a place where she can look after you and your whole family.

I'm sure my grandparents are up there, showing her around. :)
