Ok folks this is no suprise, I really thought they would give us 'Becker fans' an endsight on what is going to happen with Dr. Becker. Heres what dave Hackel had to say:

"We WERE CANCELLED, THEN we were picked up for mid-season, then we were told we were going to be on in the fall"
says creator dave Hackel. "So everybody here has track shoes on." Resuscitated to take over a slot previously reserved for Robert Klien's now post-poned sitcom The Stones, the series picks up with Bronx doctor Becker contemplating a serious commitment to Chris.
"Becker has never been in a relantionship for which he would even cosiderchanging anything about himself. We've had him in very temporay, conveniant, booty-call type relantionships," says Hackel.
"He's scared to death because he's been divorced twice and he doesn't think he's any good at it. And he inst-he sucks." You said it not us.
