Durring the NBC years what was Mama's Family Ratings? And Also how many people watched it durring Syndication? and why did NBC air Mama's FAmily durring the summer of 1985 if they had canceled it the year before? A second chance for Mama at NBC?

I am doing this by memory - the syndicated years of MF was always in the top 10...I know for a few years it was #1 and even in reruns now, it continues to be in the top 10 for reruns. I am not entirely sure about the NBC years of MF, though.

Vicki said something in her autobiography (I THINK) about why MF didn't continue into late 1984 to early 1986....but I can't remember what her reason was.

Well, whatever the NBC ratings were, they were below the Top 30...:rolleyes:

In her book, Vicki says that, during the entire syndicated run of MF, it was the top-rated sitcom in syndication. :D

Sorry I can't say more on the episodes airin' in '85 (she doesn't really talk about that specifically)...
