View Full Version : Your Least Favorite Sitcom Dad of the 1970's? TVFactFan 09-07-2003, 10:14 AM I would have to say that the Sitcom Dad i did not like from the 1970's is Mike Brady. I'm not sure why though-LOL phoebe7165 09-07-2003, 03:59 PM When I watched "All in the Family" as a kid, I hated Archie, especially when he was mean to Edith & Mike, which as we all know was all the time!!! As a kid, I guess you think that the character is like that in real life. I know I did!! Now, of course, I see him differently as an adult, because I see how Carroll O'Connor was in real life, so I don't hate Archie as much. It still is great to hear Edith yell back at him once in a while. 'Stifle it, Archie'!!! Sitcomwriter 09-07-2003, 05:19 PM Mike Brady. He was just too 70's.He started of ok but then he just became too "groovy".He then got better during "The Bradys". *PinkLady* 09-07-2003, 05:59 PM I agree about Mike Brady. I wasn't really that fond of James Evans either. LucyFan 09-07-2003, 10:54 PM Archie Bunker |
