Do you mean to say you don't know if this is a TRUE rumor or not?

I just wish it would come on any channel at a GOOD time. 6 a.m. is a horrible time. I get to see it for like 5 minutes in the morning when I'm getting ready for school.

I just have to ask though...How old are you? You sound about college-age to me, but I could be way off. I AM college-age now. ;)

Well I do know that the Carol Burnett Show is coming to TVland(FOR SURE)!!!!, so you might have miss read whatever you read, and it may be the Family Skits you read about not Mama's Family. But it might be true scine Mama is a spin off of Carol Burnett, but it would not make scince to bring a 80's show into a 50's,60's,70's TV enviroment! LoL ??? But who knows! I hope it does!!!!!!!!! Well thats my 2 cents!

Why don't you just tape it Huntington? That's what I've been doing because it's also a bad time for me...

Apparently Nick-at-Nite didn't have a problem doing it, lol.

N@N is more geared towards the mid-80's/early 90's sitcoms, while TVL is more geared towards 50's/60's/70's/early 80's sitcoms.

Actually, in fact, I'm not. I usually hit the sack at 4AM (or earlier) and MF is on by 5AM here.

I don't start college til January 2004. That means four more full months of vacation for me. Ah, 7 month vacation...Can't get better than that. ;)

No, really, though. It won't be all fun and games. I'm in the midst of moving (I move this weekend) back to my hometown and we have to get settled down and stuff before I am fully ready to start college. You know? Plus, I'm 18 now, so I'll probably have a job or something to hold me down til it's time for me to start college. :)

I've got 2 more years of HS left and blech! I've got tons of classes and work this year it's not even funny...I barely have enough time to watch 2 MF's a day, let alone post here...

Can't imagine what college'll be like...

:barf: Junior year was KILLER. Back then, though, MF was on from 7 til 8 in the morning, so I could watch MF before I headed off to school. :) And for most of my senior year last year, it was on at that time, too. Senior year was EASY. :D

Edit: BTW, how old are you? Are you a sophomore/junior? I'm kinda confused...

And, Huntington, you still haven't answered my question on the first page. :)

Oh my gosh, I'm moving this weekend too! And to my hometown! But it's only 10 miles away from here, so it's not too big of a deal. But yeah, while I'm moved, I probably won't have the internet for a whole week! What a nightmare. ;)

I really really wish I could skip out on school this semester, like you and just look for a part time job. But I can't get coverage for health insurance unless I am a FULL TIME student. It's a load of BS. Insurance comapanies can really eat my shorts.

You may find that college won't be worse than what you're doing now. I know college for me last year wasn't worse than high school. But then I probably shouldn't be giving advice on this sort of thing... I know a lot of people say they have more to do in college so .

 I'm moving 180 miles. :)

I'm skipping out this semester for a particular reason - I need an interpreter, and in the state I am in (ND), it's hard to find a qualified interpreter that can interpret at college level for my disability.

I don't know about the part-time job thing...that's just a guess though.

180 miles? That's quite a difference. :)

That really stinks that you have to skip out on school because of that. There really should be more availabilty of interpreters. What crap. I hope you won't have too much hassle getting one.

Yeah, to be honest, I don't know if I would be all that jazzed about looking for a part time job in place of school this semester. I just hate the thought of working any time soon! Schools okay. I just am bored with this college. Makes me wish I took my SATS. Well, not really... it's not like I am mature enough to live away from home to go to school. Something about the insurance thing puts knots in my stomach though. Being a full time student actually doesn't bother me, but knowing that it is hung over my head or I won't get coverage isn't cool. I mean I think about "what if I withdraw from a class and can't pick up a new one in the middle of the quarter or something? Then I'd have 10 credits or so for that quarter, and that's "not a full time student." Then if I had some need for health care during that time, and the insurance company found out, I might be up a creek.

Well, anyways... good luck with moving! 10 miles is a big enough deal for me! And good luck finding a darn interpreter soon!

 Yep, sure is a difference! I'm excited about it, though. It'll be the first time in nearly 11 years I'll be living in my hometown full-time. :) I had to move away in November 1992... Now I'm done with HS, so I can get the **** out of this horrible little town I'm in.

Yeah, tell me about the interpreter thing. There's actually a shortage of interpreters here in ND, because so many of them move out to bigger, better states. So, we need the time to look for one that'll ACTUALLY stay and not move out on me.

Oh BOY. I'm sorry to hear about the whole insurance deal...Ugh. :( I wish you the very best of luck with what happens. I really do. I'll be living at home and attending college, so I think I should be OK. :)

PZelda...I'm 16 and a Junior...let's see this year I've got, among lots of other things, algebra, gov't, research/debate, biology/dissection, and chemistry. I've also been doing volunteer work so my schedule is PACKED this year...I'm looking forward to just a few classes next year :)
