Ever since Chris Farley died, David has gone downhill. TJL 09-06-2003, 09:26 PM I still think there should be a "three strikes" rule for movie stars. If you make three bombs in a row, you're not allowed to make another movie for....oh, let's say two years. Stars like Madonna and Kevin Costner who only do a few movies in a decade should get a lifetime banishment. Open Range apparantly has gotten some decent reviews. Madonna should just give it up. His last few flicks have gone nowhere. dandelion wine 09-07-2003, 04:14 AM Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears. webuster 09-07-2003, 07:22 AM Steven Segal, Hilary Duff, Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears. For now J Lo and Brittany Murphy are safe- but I think Murphy will be on my hate list next. Ellen DeGeneres hasn't been in a good or well known film yet, excluding EDTV-which everyone hated, and she did the voice of Dory in Nemo- but I think she should have a chance because she probably has some movie talent if she was given a different kinda film to do. Obviously the Olsen twins... starsprite 09-07-2003, 01:33 PM From that list i'd have to say Hilary Duff and Britney Spears should stay away from movies. Ashton Kutcher might be on my list soon enough too :P Personally I like J-Lo as an actress more than a singer... and Brittany Murphy is such a talented actress!! I adored her in Clueless, Don't Say A Word, Girl,Interrupted, Riding In Cars with Boys and not to mention the tv work she did on The Torkelsons, Sister Sister, Boy Meets World and such...the stuff she has been doing lately is making her seem a bit less talented to me but because of all the great stuff she has done in the past I will always consider her a great actress. I agree. She has the potential to be one of the best actresses of her generation, but she's been spreading herself too thin lately with sub par films. She should concentrate on dramas for a while, and be more choosy about her comedy roles. If Woody Allen were smart, he would put her in one of his films. She would be terrific. TJL 09-07-2003, 01:42 PM Originally posted by Miss Karly Kirsten Dunst hasn't popped up for a while.... but I don't like any of her movies except Bring It On and Spiderman. Yeah, for a while you couldn't walk into a theater without seeing one of her movies playing. She was in everything! She hasn't been in much this year. Maybe she realized her filmography should be more quality than quantity. Faith 09-07-2003, 01:47 PM All on your list except John travolta. ¤Graced¤ 09-07-2003, 02:15 PM Well the buzz is that J-lo's movie that is coming later this year called "An unfinished life," is really good. Even Oscar worthy, so she's safe on my list for awhile. But if I had to choose, it would be Kate Hudson. She is a good actress but just chooses bad movie roles. Her last 3 movies have been critical bombs. Oh and I also choose Tom Green :shudders:  Christopher 09-07-2003, 02:40 PM Alyssa Milano, I can't stand her anymore. DianeChambers87 09-07-2003, 02:55 PM Originally posted by ONE LIFE TO LIVE I'm bitting my tounge and ignoring the bad remarks about Hilary Duff. ;) THey aren't really bad remarks. It's an opinion. I don't really think she's a talented actress, nor a good singer. I'll give her this, she IS a pretty good tv personality, and she can handle herself in interviews...but besides that I don't think her work will become award winning. In my opinion. Well, um, the real reason she was fired from "Valley of the Dolls" was because she had some real problems to deal with: alcoholism, addiction to pills, divorces - she had a very troubled life. Anyways, Judy Garland died a long time ago :( She won't be making any movies. So who was your pick? MonarC 09-08-2003, 03:34 PM Britney is in the lead! Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life was paramounts own fault for releasing it so late in the summer. It made enough for them to be considering making a 3rd. It made over $500 million alone over seas.
