Wow, I forgot that last night's episode ("Is That A Subpoena In Your Pocket...?") was the first appearance of Tony Shalhoub as a cast regular. I liked how they had Antonio introduce himself to that man who was looking for him, which was also a way of introducing himself to US!

I also liked how Antonio made that reference to his old restaurant job, so he didn't come across as an entirely different character from his earlier "waiter" appearance.

Even in his first "official" appearance as Antonio, the guy was ROCKIN'! He got right in there and started cracking up the audience with funny lines, mannerisms and facial expressions. You just KNEW that this character was going to work on the show....Way to go, Tony!

Now TONIGHT is a REAL classic...."Taming Of The Shrew"! I LOVE this episode! Every "Wings" fan owes it to himself or herself to watch this one, whether you've never seen it before or whether you've seen it many times....It is simply Crystal Bernard at her BEST!

Now we're into the 3rd Season, and the series really hits it's stride. There isn't that "good episode, not-so-good episode, good episode, not-so-good episode" run of earlier and later seasons.....Just about EVERY episode from this 3rd season (and the next couple of seasons) is pure GOLD!

No arguments from me Pilotguy!:)

I always felt the third season was when the show really hit it's stride and became the most consistent (I've said it before but season 3 thru 6 were the most consistent seasons to me). The writers and actors seemed to really find what worked. Lowell really came into his own and Tony was a superb addition to the cast.

"Taming of the Shrew" is also one of my favorites of all time...probably make my top 10 easily. Actually, when you look back at how season 3 began, "Naked Truth", "Subpoena.."and "Shrew"....wow, talk about quality!

And yes, tonights performance by Crystal is great, "Emmy worthy stuff"....of course she never got the actual respect from emmy voters which still angers me.
