Guys and Gals, this is obviously a fake! You are all incredibly gullible. Somebody impersonating Lisa Whelchel - the same thing happened on the FOL Site message board, I would be willing to be it is the same person. It's not going to continue here!

To CuteNCountry, you will be reported to AOL and your account will likely be terminated. The fact that you've replied to people's emails, signed your name as her, and impersonated Lisa Whelchel is only further evidence that will be forwarded to AOL. I've saved everything and it will all be passed on to them..

I do not want to hear anything more about this in new topics, if you feel the need to respond do it to THIS topic.. all other new topics asking what happened to the topics and why it will be closed will be deleted..

Thanks TJ. I was monitoring the other board as well as this one when that happened and it got ugly. I still check it occasionally, but that board hasn't recovered yet. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to this one.

It probably is just someone impersonating her, but what if it really is her...you would be kicking yourself TJ.

I'm pretty sure that she must have internet access, in an interview she said she keeps in touch with people/family via email. Also, she likely writes her book on a computer, who doesn't nowadays? So the chance of her having a computer are 90% or more, I'd say. However, the messages that this imposter wrote are quite clearly NOT Lisa Whelchel. It's probably some bored kid who wants to have some fun fooling people. TJ, I for one and glad you are taking a strong stand against this, keeps the board respectable.

As with the posts from a couple nights ago, TJ, I'd suggest you just delete the fake LW postings whenever they pop up. Like graffiti, perhaps if you delete them right away, the joker(s) will get tired of posting and stop trying to con the fans.

Think about it a minute, Ms. Whelchel's an intelligent person who'd realize the disturbance her presence would cause on a message board. I'm sure she'd have the sense to either inform the moderator of her presence or not inform readers as to her true identity.

I am absolutely appalled at the lack of maturity of some the people on this board, and I am refering SPECIFICALLY to the imposters. This is really getting old. People need to grow up and act their age.

The wahole purpose of a message board is to discuss the show and communicate with about a specified topic, not to act childish and spread just plain stupid rumors. Gossip is one thing and to an extent is ok, but this impersonating and these rumors are getting out of hand.

A month ago I considered this a respectable bored, but now it had become rotten due to a few bad apples. (You all know who I'm refering to)
