DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PERSON: Goes by several alias names, one of them is Marcin Grabowski and they are from Poland! They are frauds! In July 2002, this person e-mailed me that they had all the soap tapes I was looking for. To make a long story short, I sent them their money (which was a large amount) via Western Union as they requested. I never received these tapes. They avoid my e-mails now that I demand my money back. Their e-mail is telenovelasclub@hotmail.com (Telenovelas Club). Be careful.

I may have been ripped off by the same character. He used the name REMIK ROZGA and promised me all the episodes of a rare tv sitcom back in May. I never received the tapes and had my emails repeatedly ignored. I also sent the money via WESTERN UNION. I have a feeling it's the same guy using a different alias. Anyhow, don't allow yourself to be ripped off by a guy using this name. In fact if anybody from Poland promises you videos and wants you to send the money through WESTERN UNION I'd be suspicious.

There had been a dicussion about this person from Poland before.
Last year he emailed me trying to sell a series, I did a search for his name (and address) and luckily(?) found a lot of 'bad trader' sites he was on.

I then posted on here about him:

From what I read on other sites, he has been doing this same scam for years. It's hard to catch him, even with his address, because he is in Poland. I do know TJ has banned him from this site, so he will only contact you via email. Be careful

WHY WOULD ANYONE SEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF $$ TO POLAND??? AS AN OCCASIONAL SELLER MYSELF, I TELL PEOPLE TO BUY IN SMALL AMOUNTS. EVEN THOUGH I WONT SCREW THEM OVER, FOR THEIR OWN PROTECTION IN FUTURE DEALINGS WITH OTHER PEOPLE, THEY SHOULD BUY IN SMALL AMOUNTS. ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR A LARGE AMOUNT OF CASH UP FRONT SHOULD BE THOUGHT OF AS SUSPICIOUS.

JUST MY THOUGHTS:p

Hind site is always 20/20, isn't it? Most of us have to be burned once or twice to learn our lesson on this. Besides the fact that major bad traders prey on the newbies who don't know the ropes yet.

He emailed me several times trying to sell me all of the episodes of The Nanny. I was looking for them on VCD/DVD/VHS...and, wouldn't you know it...he had them all! I communicated back and for with him for about a week...he wanted 120.00 sent via Western Union. I told him the only way I could complete the transaction was through an escrow service. I even did all of the "leg work" to get the details for him. He said he did not have a place to ship items via DHL - which was required for the escrow service. I told him I would not complete the deal. He "begged" me to send the money and said I "could trust him - he is very honest". I started looking up his email address on a Google.com search and found some negative info on him. I cut and paste that info in a final email to him and I never heard from him again. I would highly encourage anybody considering a trade or purchase from anyone to use either Paypal.com guaranteed money back program or an escrow service - UNLESS - they are an experienced trader with lots of positive feedback on this site. Also, DO NOT send cash via Western Union to anybody! You will never recover it! Good luck!!! By the way, if you do a search on www.google.com on his email address, you will see that the Poland guy offers to sell complete sets of videos from all WIDE variety of shows. I thought it was interesting that his interest was so diverse as to always have a complete set of what so many people were looking for. His emails always read, "I have all of the....or....I have the complete set of.....email me if interested".

oh my god
i just realized i looked up that address and saw the name Angi Grabowski, I emailed her (?) last year about getting all Golden Girls episodes and she wanted $150 - I found it suspicious of the emails she sent as they were worded like this

"as soon as I get the $150 i will send you tapes"

I am so lucky I never got burned...and havent!!!

You guys are all right. I was so desperate to get these tapes that I wired money to some person in a foreign land. Believe me, I have learned my lesson.
