Has anyone noticed that the Seaver's were always really mean to Carol? They were always sort of jerky towards her, but near the end of the show (the last 2 seasons) it seemed like they were exeptionaly mean to her. Also, during those seasons it was like Jason and Maggie were being jerky too. For instance when Carol needed something and Mike did too, they would always tell Carol she could ahndle it herslef, or they didn't care about her college life. I know Carol could be arrogant sometimes... but still.

Yeah I've noticed that...I know it's not reality, but I actually start feeling really bad for her at times!

I also dont like the way they treat Carol. Mike seems to be the most important kid, but that's no cool for the others. When Carol has an annoucement to make, they don't care, when it's Mike, they all run. I know it's part of the series jokes, but I wouldnt like to be Carol in real life. I would just shoot myself or something lol.

I was just watching an episode today and noticing that, actually. Towards the end Jason & Maggie seemed annoyed every time Carol brought up a problem.

if you seen the last 2 shows of growing pains (the Last Picture Show) mike was saying nice things to carol. the last shows were the sadest shows, it made me cry when i saw the emptied house, at the end maggie uncovers a message on a brick behind the family portrait and it said, Mike Seaver Was Here, it was so sad to see them leave, growing pains is the best show there could ever be!!!!!!!!!!
