View Full Version : WKRP on TV LAND starting this Friday!!
dlemond 09-04-2003, 05:32 PM OK PEOPLE,
TV LAND has WKRP on at 12:30 Friday and Saturday nights now (as part of the Kitschen) and I am asking everyone who hasn't seen it to give it a chance.
At least tape an episode and tell us what you think.
And those who have not liked the show- give it another try.
You will be surprised.
And to all the WKRP fans out there, I expect the boards to start up again!
Pilot pt 1 - Friday
Pilot pt 2 - Saturday
Happy viewing.

jenn Hi..I live about sixty miles away from Anaheim..I live in San Diego (Del Mar) and no I do not get KDOC, which is not part of our cable line-up..but if I switch to regular TV, guess what I do get KDOC, but it is NOT crystal clear:)

i think the music changes were the reason
wkrp in cincinnati did'nt do that well in the
ratings when it aired on nick at nite in 1999.
but only 10 episodes at the most were ruined
by the music and dialogue changes and most of
those were the first seasons episodes.
most of the episodes that aired in the 3rd and 4th
seasons have original music and dialogue.
but in my opinion the show is more than worth
watching.
Mr. Television 09-07-2003, 12:10 AM Part 2 of the WKRP pilot starts in about 20 minutes.

Impressions 09-07-2003, 01:47 PM I recently watched (and recorded) the episode that aired in the TV Land Kitschen last night, and I'm beginning to get hooked on the series. I remember seeing this show when it aired on Nick at Nite a few years ago, and it's bringing back a few memories.
LucyFan 09-07-2003, 04:27 PM I am surprised that WKRP In Cincinnatti actually made it to TV Land. I'm just so glad it has found a new cable home. I remember watching WKRP In Cincinnatti right before Laverne & Shirley on Nick at Nite about a few summers back. I think it was the 1999 summer. I have fond memories of this show.
Now if TV Land would acquire the rights to The Wonder Years, that would be great.
Scoobiedoo30 09-09-2003, 04:21 PM I am glad that WKRP in Cincinnati is on TV Land I really enjoyed watching WKRP in Cincinnati on Friday, September 5, 2003
and Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 11:30 pm central time.
