that you hated about Cheers? Whether it be a character, an episode, something that didn't happen in a storyline....etc, etc.

At the very least, something that annoyed you about the show?

I'm kinda glad it ended when it did. One bad things about sitcoms sometimes is that they end waaaay past their prime. At least Cheers can say it ended near the top.

Yea I agree with Brian, it so nice to see a succesful show gracefully step down in its prime. Even though I wish it would have lasted forever quality and all...it couldn't but we have 275 episodes to love! and not alot of fans of sitcoms can say that.

.....The only thing I that I didn't like was how it all ended with Diane.....would it have killed them to end it on a nice tune instead of "Once an outsider always an outsider." ?

I never really liked the character Evan Drake, there was just something about him that annoyed me. I didn't really like Robin Colcord either but he didn't annoy me as much as Evan did.

I feel the show could have gone for at least 1 more season, if not 2.

But my BIGGEST, and probably ONLY problem, is that the entire "Carla is becoming a grandmother" storyline stopped, in the middle of nowhere.

Correct me if Im wrong, I think Anthony and Annie Tortelli suddenly stopped appearing and stopped even being discussed on the show.

I just feel that that episode was weak because the plot was never played out, just left a hanger.

But other than that, perfect series.

Yeah Anthony and Annie just like left.

Rebecca: Hey wait theres only 7 of you here.
Gino: Anthonys doin somethin.
Rebecca: What?
Gino: Time

haha. And that was the only other time they were mentioned.

According to my LIFE mag everyone on the show was keen about going on to a 12th season but Ted at the last moment decided it was time to see what else was out there for him. And I can respect that.:)

haha

The 12th Season....
were any episode ideas let out??

I think "One For The Road" should have been postponed until whenever the series finale was.

And about Ted Danson wanting to leave, i DONT respect that.
The series could have gone on for so much longer, but he sealed up the fate for the rest of the cast and crew, the millions of fans, himself, and a half-assed movie career.

As with Shelley Long, bad move.

It was a bad call for Shelley but she's admitted it, and I think she does regret it a bit...but again the character of Diane shouldn't have been treated differentely because they had problems with Shelley.

In the E! THS she said she said she didn't regret leaving Cheers, but I agree I bet she really does. I bet her career would have been more successful if she stayed on Cheers for a little bit longer while making movies at the same time. I don't think Cheers would have been better though if she stayed, I personally think Rebecca made the show a lot better, imo.
