...how sports games look different on TV nowadays as opposed to games in the 1960s to the 1980s? It's sort of hard to describe. If you watch ESPN Classic or watch games on ESPN or on other channels and they flash back to old games, you might see the difference. The graphics, the image, the sound, they all seem so different. Anybody ever notice that?

Yeah Iv'e noticed that. And it's not just with basketball, it's with all forms of entertainment. I mean look at sitcoms from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and even the 80's, and compare them with the sitcoms of today. Today's tv shows suck compared to older shows, but the picture quality today is much more sharp and clear then it was back then. I think it mostly has to do with the fact that technology has improved so much. With all this digital technology it has made the quality of tv much much better. Also I think they turn more lights on in the arenas today then they did in the 60's, and 70's.

I've noticed it. It's alot harder to watch those classic games because they are so flawed by todays standards as far as technology goes.
