Ok after seeing the last season for the Trillionth time lol thanx to Nick at Nite, a pattern comes out...they start bringing things back from the Diane years...and in my opinion it's all hinting towards One for the Road where the ultimate come back happens AKA Diane.

Like for example:

-More references to Diane started happening in the 10th & 11th season.
----like when Sam get's electrocuted, the whole Sam and Woody discussion on the roof, the fake eyeball joke, Frasier's comment in the drive-in episode, Norm scaring Sam saying that "Diane was going to be a little late" or something like that, um...and I know there are more but I can't think of any at the moment.

-Harry the Hat was a character that only appeared (correct me if i'm wrong) in the 1st season

-That awesome teaser to "Do not forsake me, O' my mr. Postman" where Andy Andy comes back which also was a character that appeared in the first 5 seasons

-That one teaser that Sam starts talking to some man on the street about his whole story with Cheers and he begins with "It all started when this woman Diane Chambers came in..." and I believe it was a couple of episodes before One for the road aired.

- This last connection is a bit stretched but there is a connection, Diane won the first bar wars for Cheers, they never won again, until the last one in the last season that was won by Harry a character from the 1st season.

one last thing, I was thinking it must have been a little bit weird for the actor who played Harry the Hat to come back around 10 years later...and find so many new actors...lol you know? like no more nick, and then woody, kirstie, kelsey, and bebe were there. I mean it must have been interesting for himt to compare what he saw backstage between the actors in the first season, to what was going on in the 11th season.

Hmm good point there at the end. I wonder if actors watch their own shows once they leave them. Like shelley long for example. did she watch cheers after she left and if she did, was she offended by some of the comments that sounded like they referred to her? hmmm interesting, very interesting:confused:

lol that's one of the reasons I can't leave the boards (this next thing and plus now im a MODERATOR :D :D) Because i'll be sitting in class or doing something and i have like this subconscious part of me that is constantly thinking about cheers and these thoughts just pop into my head so i write them down...cause if i don't post them then i'll end up saying it to one of my friends....and they are about to kill me so lol ...yea

that IS really observant
congrats on ur moderator status

Harry the Hat actually appeared up to season 6, then reappeaed in season 11, like u said. so he kinda disappeared w/ Diane
