Foodshopping! :woohoo: I had all my coupons (41 of them) and my Shaws Rewards card. The total came to $131.76. Thats my record! Last month was $55.00- which is low for me and I was trying to beat my record from July which was $97.00. Wheeee Im so proud of myself. I only go foodshopping once a month because its easier and a lot cheaper.

I LOVE going to the grocery store. I like the local Vons but the local Albertsons is huge and a lot better. Bigger selections of food and they have a lot of variety.

It had better last a long while, because it's all mine! And I put my name on all of it so no one in the house eats it.

I have gained about 35 lbs. during this bout with depression I'm currenly in the middle of (yay), so it's all diet food for me.

How much is tuition? $107.41 a week?

Healthy food is expensive. But that's... okay. Because I'm good enough...

Does neatness of the cut count? If I cut too far inside or outside of the designated dotted line, do I get docked points?

Wow, that's strict, but fair. I only hope I can make you as proud as I have my "feeling fruit at the grocery store before you buy it" teacher. :D

I'm such a bad grocery shopper. I swear, sometimes I bring my mommy with me so I know what I'm doing. She's sending me to a "name brand doesn't always mean better" teacher.

Ill also teach you how to make a list. None of that 'milk & eggs' written on a Wal-Mart receipt crap.

If my dad found out what you did he'd be jumping up and down and screaming! He's like obsessed with saving money and coupons! :) He lectures me all the time about it. Well, I do use them occasionally. Good for you on saving that much money!

I beat my record! :D I went foodshopping on Friday because we had to stock up on everything, so my mother gave me $400. The total came to $369.98, but then after my card and coupons (all 68 of them -.-) the total came down to $236.79. I saved $133.19 which comes to a 35% savings. :cheer:

I think we have the same dad!;) If there is a store ad that says "one per person per coupon" and he has more than one coupon(which he usually does because he will cut out every coupon in every paper) he likes to get someone to go with him, just to get another ball of suet.:D
