Just curious if anyone knows more about this...this show was not on the Fall 1988 TV schedule, and episodes did not start airing until December of 1988 for the last season. Was there a reason for this? With the Allie/Bob wedding cliffhangers, I find it interesting they would have done something like that...anyone know more?

I believe the show was a mid-season replacement for the 88-89 season.

Original shows aired throughout the spring and summer of 1989.

There was also a writer's strike during the fall of 1988 and many TV shows premiered late because of it. This may have something to do with it.
