I have been watching seasons 7 and 8 this week and I dont think WINGS went downhill after the wedding of Joe and Helen. It was still a terrific funny sitcom. I only saw my Very first episode of Wings in May this year and I absolutely LOVE it.

Its my 2nd favourite TV show...next to Will & Grace which is number one! ;)

wings is a great show... i actually only started watching it a few weeks ago but nows its one of my favorites. once school starts i'm not gonna be able to see it anymore because its on too late but i'll still watch it on the weekends

yeah, I agree too. I mean, seasons 7 and 8 weren't my favorites, but I didn't think it was bad! I still liked the show. There were only a few dud episodes.

Every fan of the show has certain episodes or periods of the show that they like better for their own personal reasons....but the writing and acting of Wings remained good and consistent for the entire 8 years...the quality of the show never changed or dropped off in my opinion, it's just that there are certain character attributes or qualities that some people appreciated more then others....and as the series evolved and grew, the characters had to evolve and change too...such as Joe and Helen going from awkward shyness to dating to marriage. Every season had a few duds in there and every season had many classic moments.....it's all good for the most part. :D Hey, why else would we be yammering away on a message board about a TV show that ended over 6 years ago.:)

I thought Wings was good all the way through.

seasons 7 and 8 are still better than any episode of overplayed cosby on N@N

I definitely loved "Wings" all the way through. :) I totally agree that even when the show wasn't at it's best, every "Wings" episode is way better than most stuff on TV.

Season 7 had its moments, but I just don't like season 8 at all. I just didn't find it as funny as the earlier years.

I do think the last two season of Wings are far funnier than just about anything else that has come out the past couple of years though.

There were several episodes in season 8 that I liked alot...now that I have recently seen the episodes again I can name a few off the top like "Single and Hating It" "Too Beautiful for You" and "Dreamgirl". And of course "Final Approach" which I know many haven't yet seen. But I'm a firm believer in the saying "to each their own". :) Plus, like you and everybody said, anything Wings produced during the entire series is better then most of what is done today.:D
