I would bring Suzanne Somers back as Chrissy Snow in the 6th season, and have Terri be Mr. Furley's neice, and live either with him or in her own apartment near the 3 roomates, (Jack, Janet and Chrissy.) I would also have Cindy visit from UCLA and not be totally erased from the show.

I would also change the ending. I would make Janet and Jack start dating, and move into a 1 bedrooom apartment and Chrissy and Larry get together and they live in the same apartment in a one bedroom. I thought it was terrible how they made Terri go to hawaii, so I would make her take over the apartment that Mr. Furley managed, and Mr. Furley go somewhere close to the beach and finally marry Lana.

The ending def. I would have had Jack and Janet marry!:D

I would have NOT had Jack have his resturant so early....

I would have had him getting it at the end. The last few episodes he would have got it.. and they all would be fixing it up..

then the final episode.. the doors open for business, have jack thank all his friends ..for believeing in him and helping him make his dream come true.. they all hug/ have tears in their eyes (very emotional.. )

then at the end the doors open for business.. and the camera pulls back & down the street..and then slowly moves away from these character we have known for 8 years!

*This way it is a "happy ever after" feeling.. we assume that jack's resturant went well.. plus there is NO twist at the end that might piss off some fans with a marriage (happy days did that and I feel that is a cheap ending/plot.. also having a baby is cheap)

so my idea is a wrap up.. we assume the resturant went well.. but we only see exactly when it opens.. we assume The Kids still live together, but it is not said for how long and what happened..

it is just one big happy ever after

yes that is the only thing i would have changed

I would've explained why Cindy, Chrissy, and Lana left. They just seemed to disappear into thin air.

Also, I would've introduced Vicky and Phillip earlier in season 8. I would've also given them a personality. It seemed like Janet was marrying a complete stranger and that Jack was moving in with a complete stranger.

I would have given Terri something funny to do, brought back the Ropers for occasional visits, and added Dean Travers to the cast. Also, I would have ended the show with laughs instead of the dreary way it ended.
