Well, I guess it sounds like that "Jem" may be coming to DVD sometime in 2004! This is what I found at the Truly Outrageous Jem Mailing list site:

JEM ON DVD UPDATE

Thanks to everyone who has written to Sam Toles at Rhino. Letters have poured in from around the world, and it has been "ALL JEM ALL THE TIME" in his office. He has asked people to stop writing now, because he has become so overwhelmed. A list member asked several questions in regards to the DVD release, and this is what has been said:
Rhino is tentatively planning to release "Jem" on DVD in 2004. March is not the planned month, but it should be earlier in the year rather than later
When "Jem" is issued on DVD, the initial release will be a 4-disc set containing the first 26 episodes ("The Beginning" through "Glitter And Gold")
Depending on sales, additional season sets could follow on a 3-6 month basis
There will be an interview with series creator Christy Marx on the DVD, and they are hoping to have her participate in creating other special features (commentary, etc.)

Again, thanks to everyone who has written to Sam Toles; however, we have made our point, so please stop sending letters. Thank you.

Is this awesome or what?!?! Can't wait until 2004 :) It will also be awesomt to have the television version of "The Beginning/Truly Outrageous" since there were more scenes. This is just too awesme.

I saw "Jem" on TV a long time ago. My uncle has it on video while he still lives in Florida. He has a vast collection of old video tapes that he usually taped from a long time. In that case, I saw it when I was a kid. "Jem" was used to be my favorite.
