SEPTEMBER 2, 1968

The Monkees was preempted by Baseball (Cardinals Versus Reds).

SEPTEMBER 2, 1972

"The Picture Frame" (a.k.a. "The Bank Robbery"), Episode No. 34 of The Monkees (prod. #4759, from Sept. 18, 1967 and Apr. 1, 1968, NBC), was repeated @ noon (EDT) on CBS.

This repeat officially concluded the CBS Saturday Afternoon run of The Monkees. Effective the following week (September 9, 1972), it moves to ABC Saturday Afternoon @ 1:30 p.m. (repleet with reemptions!).

SEPTEMBER 4, 1967

The Monkees was preempted by Baseball (Indians Versus Twins).

The following week (September 11, 1967) would see the dawning of The Monkees' second season on NBC!

SEPTEMBER 4, 1971

"The Monkees Blow Their Minds," Episode No. 57 of The Monkees (from Mar. 11, 1968, NBC), was repeated @ 12:30 p.m. (EDT) on CBS.

This ended the second season of the CBS Saturday Afternoon run of The Monkees.

SEPTEMBER 5, 1970

"The Wild Monkees", Episode No. 42 of The Monkees (prod. #4765, from Nov. 13, 1967, NBC), was repeated @ noon (EDT) on CBS, with a new song added: "Looking For The Good Times," written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart.

This ended the first season of the CBS Saturday Afternoon run of The Monkees.
