Is M*A*S*H in danger on DVD now that M*A*S*H is going to Hallmark?

I wouldn't think so.
While it's nice that Hallmark will be showing the episodes uncut, I don't think that will stop folks from wanting to collect the uncut episodes on DVD.
I wish more networks would show their reruns uncut.

What I am saying is, now that FX isn't showing M*A*S*H, are the production of it coming to dvd in future season sets in jeopardy?

I wouldn't think so. I would think the sets are selling well enough that they would want to keep making them for the fans.

I don't think it's in any danger on DVD. Season five is coming out on December 9 according to Fox's website.

I doubt it, as putting them on DVD is another way to make money. I like having the option of no laugh track and watching them uncut, without ads.

I have said that I'll probably stop buying after season five, but I'll probably end up getting the entire run.

Hello everyone!! I am new to this group but not to the TV business. Mash in my opinion is NOT in any danger, FX which is owned Fox and 20th century fox are the producers. They will Put them on dvd for us the fans, the only reasoin that it was turned over to Hallmark was Hallmark out bid FX for the syndication. In other words, they bought airing rights for the show only, to bring up Hallmarks ratings. This has in no way effect the of the release of the show on dvd. Hallmark doesnt own the show 20th century FOX owns it, and they arent going to give up thier cash cow. Just wanted to help explain this.

Hope this calms down any confusion....

So, take my advice...Pull down your pants and slide on the ice!
