Do you think the show should've had Lilith as a co-star from the beginning, or was the show perfect without her?

I think the show is better without her. Because the show was about Frasier moving on. He left Lilith and became a radio star.

I agree with Mike. Lilith makes an excellent occasional guest star, but to have her there all the time would really upset the balance of a wonderful cast and equally wonderful story about Frasier and his "new" life in Seattle.

I agree with both of you. Frasier needed to be on his own. I think the show made the right choice. But, i do agree that the show would be more fun if lilith came back for...hmm, maybe, 3 or 4 episodes this season.

I agree with the posts above me. I wouldnt have wanted to see Lilith in every ep.
