Obviously I was dissatisfied with the choices in the last poll, except for maybe Green Day.

Most of the choices seemed a little too mall-jammer-esque. I'm surprised Blink-182 and Good Charlotte weren't on the list. They're good, but...

Remember, Elvis Costello was always lumped in the Punk movement of the late 70s. He's my choice. :D

Good one!!:cool: I hadn't thought of Iggy Pop and the Stooges. They were one of the proto-punk bands in the late 60's/early 70's.
I hadn't heard really much of them at all, except for "Search and Destroy," but Iggy was wild then as he is now.
