I am a teen and love Green Acres - I think it is a truly hilarious, well-written, well-cast, and at times bizarre show. I never cease to laugh when I watch Green Acres.

I'm still a relatively new poster here at Sitcoms, only posting on a few boards. Green Acres is one of my all-time favorite shows - and you're right in that it's very well-written and yep, bizarre at times, even more so in the last episodes.

Do you have a favorite character? It'd be hard to choose because all the actors were so talented in playing their characters, don't you think? Of course, Arnold was just being himself!

You are so right - the last few episodes had some really weird story-lines, like the episode where they were going to paint their house but found out they could either have a "painted gasper or an unpainted breather" - that episode was so funny, but just weird!

Favorite character - that would have to be either Mr. Haney, Hank Kimble, Arnold, Lisa, Oliver, Ebb . . . I guess that would be every character. I really just don't have a favorite because they were all so talented (as you said) and each character made Green Acres the great show it was and still is.
