In several episodes, Fred talks about a movie called "Attack of the Mushroom People." I thought it was just a made-up movie but when I took a trip to the IMDB I was in for a surprise. There really WAS an AOTMP movie. It was called "Matango" and was made in Japan in 1963. See for yourself.

In the episode,"Fred, The Reluctant Finger",that was the movie that Fred was going to watch on TV when those 2 burglars were robbing Julio's place and one of the burglars told Fred,"You Don't Know and You Don't Wanna Know"

I think its actually..."Fred, The Recultant Fingerman."

Another movie that is mentioned on S&S is "Return of the Vampire" starring Bela Lugosi. Fred and Grady were watching TV when the announcer mentioned this movie. I thought it was just a joke but the movie actually exists. It is in the episode where Fred dumps a bowl of potato chips on Grady's head. I think it was called "Fred, the TV Addict"
