Barbara Carmichael :
Barbara Carmichael is a middle classed, working mother of 4 children of various ages and various needs living in Sacremento, California. Barbara works at a make-up counter in the middle of Bloomingdale's. Barbara's factory-working husband, Rob and Barbara try to deal with their jobs, their marriage, their 4 children, etc. Their children are boy-crazed Vanessa,13, sports-obsessed David,15, popularity-queen Trish,17, and dumb but sex-obsessed, Randy,20. Rob and Barbara just recently fixed up the basement to be Randy's little place to live (yet he's got to pay rent). Neighbors, Ted and Carol Finnerty live next door to the Carmichaels now for 6 years. Ted and Carol offer to take Rob and Barb out to dinner, anywhere away from the children. Barb's sister, Cathie lives on the other side of town as Barb and her clan. Cathie is a recently divorced from her husband, Richard, and now very single and has absolutely no such luck with men on dates. Trish has this best friend of hers-Lynzee Harper, a 20 year old girl who knows how to flaunt herself to give what she wants. Trish and Lynzee have been friends since Lynzee was in 5th grade and Trish was in the 2nd grade. Lynzee is like part of the Carmichael family. David is totally turned on by Lynzee and has had this huge secret crush on her since the first he saw her. Randy and Lynzee aren't friends at all, ever since she dumped him in the 8th grade. Randy and David are total hornballs. All they want is sex. Plus, whenever, Lynzee comes over to hang out with Trish. Randy and David melt just seeing her in her usual "skanky" clothes. Sometimes, Vanessa gets to hangout with Lynzee and Trish, while Randy and David drool out of lust.
