I think J-Lo had to film in Canada or somewhere

OMG, I agree, that was the best opening ever! The Britney-Madonna-Xtina, kiss was sooooo ****ing hot, and Missy was great as always, I had to tape it when it re-aired about 30 minutes ago! Justin won!!!!!!!! Justin looked sooooooo good.....oh my god....but we all know how I feel about him, and Im gonna stop myself before I say something I shouldnt:D. It was sort of stupid of him to be jealous of Britney kissing Madonna, she can kiss whoever she wants, they're not together......I loved the fact that Madonna slipped Britney the tongue that was so hot! ok anyway Beyonce did alright performing, even tho she looked like crap. and uh no comment on Good Charlotte....

I liked what they did for Duran Duran too, I really like Duran Duran actually. I think Coldplay did a good job, that was funny what Chris Rock said after they performed, that is a depressing song they sung. 50 Cent was alright, Snoop Dogg was alright, nothing wonderful. I laughed at Jack Black making fun of Michael Jackson, I thought that was funny.....Oh, and Eminem looked hot also :D.

Back on-topic, I was disheartened to learn of Johnny Cash's latest stay in the hospital. His appearance on the show, along with Chris Rock's monologue, were the only reasons I was going to watch it.

As much as it pains me to say something like this, I don't think Johnny's going to be with us much longer. He's gone through a lot, and June's always helped him through things. Now his rock, his foundation, is gone. On top of that, he's had a lot of medical problems the last five years or so.

Let's enjoy him while we can!

can we all just get along? I don't care too much for either Avril or Mariah. Tho I would choose Mariah over the two because I do think she has some good songs, and she comes across as a really nice person in interviews. I like a few of Avril's songs, but her personality really is what turns me off to her. I am shocked she knows who Duran Duran is (I love Duran) if she doesn't know who David Bowie is.

But there is so much more to life than fighting over Mariah or Avril. Neither of them know any of us. You can be fans all you want, but it's stupid to get into peeing contests over someone who disagrees. Hell, my avatar is Mike O'Malley, do you know how many pan reviews he's gotten for his tv work? I have never read a positive review for Yes Dear, The Mike O'Malley Show or Life With Roger, and most of the negative reviews focus on bashing him, but you know... as a fan of his work, I know what I like and don't give a crap if someone else hates it. I think he's a great comedian even if many critics hate him. That's what you gotta do. As long as you like something, no need to get defensive if someone disagrees.

I loved the Madonna/Brit/Christina performance. The kissing was hot and the look on Justin Timberlake's face after Madonna and Britney kissed was priceless. You know he wishes he never broke up with her for sure then, lol

Coldplay was great

Chris Rock was on target with a lot of his jokes, the Paula Abdul one was in bad taste, but it's the truth. And R. Kelly/Olsen Twins was a great one too

it was nice to see Duran Duran get honored with a lifetime achievement award. To todays kids, they are for my generation (I'll be 31 next month) what Good Charlotte is to yours.

I wasn't too wild about the other stuff, must be a sign of old age, haha

WAY to overplayed, just like eminem. I was rooting for Kelly Clarkson to win the best new artist but I knew with 50 and evanesance(sp), who is also really good, she didn't have a chance really. Missys good but really didn't deserve best video I think it was. Good Charlote who is overplayed also sucked as nirvana said. They're cool for breaking every thing. Thats just my opinions about the show.:)
