I think TVLand thinks HD has run it's course. I liked eating my dinner with The Fonz. I earlier said I would now be eating dinner with Hoss now, but I was looking at Monday's Labor Day shows. Now I'll be eating with Mr. Ed. I love Mr. Ed, but I'll miss the HD gang. HD 8:30 am showing isn't good for me at all.

Its not so much Mr. Ed thats bothering me about this, But their adding Gidget to twice as nice! Gidget...A Show wih 30 episodes is gonna be shown on twice as Nice while Happy Days with its 11 seasons and 255 episodes is stuck in terrible timeslots.

It's definitely not my favorite show, but I watch it sometimes. Fred is hilarious

Yeah, even though I'll watch S&S, if it risks HD, they can do whatever they want with it!

I second that! Gidget already ran on TVL once (also in the T-A-N time slot). Instead of bringing Gidget back, add some rare show that hasn't aired much.

They should air Joanie Loves Chachi. Not in the Twice as Nice slot since it was a short show, but I'd like to see it

That would be perfect in The Kitschen.

Instead of running Gidget twice, I would love to see one episode of HD and one of L&S.

That would be cool. Than they could air the Shotgun Weddings back to back.

Happy Days should have remained in the twice-as-nice block especially since the show has a grand total of 255 episodes. I think TV Land made a mistake by adding Gidget back to the TAN. If it was up to me, this is what the twice as nice block would look like:

3 & 3:30 PM - "I Dream of Jeannie"
4 & 4:30 PM - "Bewitched"
5 & 5:30 PM - "Happy Days"
6 & 6:30 PM - "I Love Lucy"
7 & 7:30 PM - "Mister Ed"

Personally . . . I think TV Land should have cut down Sanford and Son a bit. It's cycle rotation has been going superfast since January. For the September schedule, I would have moved Sanford and Son at 8:00 in the morning but still allowed the show to keep it's 9PM primetime slot as well as the 1AM airing.

I like how you think!! I Agree too. I think its stupid that they are doing this.. course they also did that with The Beverly Hillbillies too if you guys remember that awful nightmare..

Here's my suggestion for the "Twice-As-Nice" block:

3:00 & 3:30PM: "I Love Lucy"
4:00 & 4:30PM: "Happy Days"
5:00 & 5:30PM: Rotation between "All in the Family" & "Archie Bunker's Place"
6:00 & 6:30PM: "Maude"
7:00 & 7:30PM: "Sanford and Son"

I'd kill the 8PM airing of "Fantasy Island" and replace it with the following:

8:00PM: "I Dream of Jeannie"
8:30PM: "Bewitched"

I think these two shows would go well back-to-back.

They could put "Mister Ed" at 9PM (kill the airing of S&S), and they could schedule one episode of "Gidget" at 9:30PM.

Just my thoughts...
