I see many educated fans here, and am hoping someone can answer this question. How can I find out the name of the band that played in ep 229 Opies Group/Band. On the show they called themselves the Sound Committee.

I don't think they had a real name because they weren't a real band. As far as I know, and that's not very far, the band was only in the one ep and none of the kids was really playing his own instrument.
Contrast this with the Darling boys who were in reality the Dillards, an actual bluegrass band. On the show, the boys father, Briscoe, and sister, Charlene, were part of the band.

For the reply, I figured it wasnt any real big band, but just wondered, my kids liked the sound and I wanted to find it for them, thanks again.....
