Has anyone here ever seen the hilarious series 'People Like Us'. A fantastic mockumentary style show that looks into the lives of so-called ordinary everyday people like us as interviewed by the hapless Roy Mallard (Chris Langham). I just discovered this show and think it's one of the funniest shows to come out of England (or anywhere for that matter) in the last while.

What I really want to know is if there's any plans for the second series of this to be released on DVD anytime soon. I have got to see it somehow. I worte to BBCshop and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

"People Like Us" has been released on DVD in the UK, but not in the US/Canada. I too hope the BBC will the release a DVD of the show in US/Canada.

I've thought about getting an all-region PAL conversion DVD player just so that I could play DVDs of great Brit shows only available on DVD in the UK (i.e. League of Gentlemen (2nd season), Manchild, People Like Us, Royale Family and early Mike Leigh TV (Abigal's Party, Nuts in May)).

If you're really into that stuff you should totally go for the multi-region player. You should actually be able to find a relatively cheap one. In fact, check out this website and maybe you can convert your existing DVD player into a wickid multi-region DVD player with just a few simple button pushes on your player's remote control.

That's how I was able to covert my ordinary player into a pimpin multi-region super-playah! And it is amazing. I love Britcoms and now anything that's released over there on DVD that I want to see...I can. Like The Office, Alan Partridge and People Like Us.

Oh, and also, League of Gentlemen now has a THIRD series released on DVD there as well.

Check out www.amazon.co.uk to see all the awesome britcoms available on digital versatile disc in the UK.
