In the later years of Wings, Does anyone else think that Crystal looks alot like Heather Locklear - especially with the hairstyle??

I hadn't really thought of that, but I DO think that Crystal became a little TOO glamorous-looking in the final seasons.
The Helen of earlier seasons was kind of tomboyish-looking...she wasn't afraid to wear her hair pulled back or wear blue jeans and a shirt that wasn't tucked in.

In later years the "hot" look that Helen sported tended to look a little ridiculous as she was wiping down the lunch counter or scraping the grill....sort of like sitcom mothers of the 1950's (June Cleaver, Harriet Nelson, etc.) doing housework wearing fancy dresses, high heels and pearl necklaces!

Don't get me wrong...I think that the "hot" Crystal looked GREAT in those later episodes (PANT! PANT! DROOL! DROOL!).....it's just that the simpler, less-glamorous Helen seemed to fit the character better.

hmmm.... I don't see a resemblance to Heather Locklear...

I think that Crystal looks like Ann-Margaret...but like Lowell, I thing that EVERYBODY looks like Ann-Margaret! :crazy:

OOOPS....Typo time....that should read, "I THINK that everybody looks like Ann-Margaret", not "I THING...."

(Of course I COULD try to sound like Ricky Ricardo and say "I THIN..."!)

Ya know... I hadn't really thought of a resemblance between Crystal and Heather. But... maybe a little bit... especially with the layered hair style.

You know, I hadn't even thought of that, but that's a good point.....sometimes she was too dressed up to be working the lunch counter.......I always thought it was silly she was still working the lunch counter after they got married....I know those Hacketts still needed the second income, but still...:) .....but hey, this is TV, not real life and she needed an excuse to hang around the terminal. As the series continued over the years I'm sure Crystal made several personal changes in her look just by personal choice, but I think some shows require the actors to sign contracts that state they won't make major changes to their hair etc......I never saw the show, but I remember years ago what an uproar it caused when the actress from Felicity cut her hair.

Of course there's the famous story of how Vivian Vance's "I Love Lucy" contract stated that Viv had to remain at least 20 pounds overweight and wear unflattering clothes so she would appear older than Lucy. (In real life, Viv was actually a few years younger than Lucy).

When Lucy was coaxing Viv to do the later "LUCY SHOW" with her, Viv insisted that there be no such "frumpy look" stipulations in her new contract...in fact, Viv only agreed to co-star in Lucy's new series after Lucy agreed to let Viv's new character appear more attractive....modern hairstyle, nicer clothes, makeup, etc.....which is why Vivian Bagley of the later "The Lucy Show" looks so much younger and prettier than Ethel Mertz of the earlier "I Love Lucy".

I thought she did look kinda like Heather. i like her tomboyish look of the earlier seasons.

I also think Antonio looks a lot like the older brother on Everybody Loves Raymond. Anyone else think so? I also think he kinda looks like Luka from ER. Luka is a real hottie :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
