I think you can choose who you want to deliver your package. :)

They figure out who will carry it, UPS, or USPS, or whoever, based on some formula they have. In some cases, you can express a preference which they tell you up front they don't guarantee they will honor, but the only time I did that, they forgot that I had asked. You can arrange to have them leave the package even if you aren't home.

What time is early? And i would that is a good thing since it's something you want right?

I wouldn't think so, but maybe you could. I know my package took 4 days to get to my house.

But if it's something you want, you can get up, sign for it and go back to sleep

The only things that I have ordered from there are books and movies. Mine always are delivered by the Post Office. (Standard shipping) But you must specify which shipping method that you want.

We don't have FedEx where I live, so when I ordered a calendar from Amazon two years ago, they delivered it via UPS. I didn't have to sign for anything. ;)
