View Full Version : Dark side of the beast... webwarr 08-26-2003, 08:05 PM Was the hulk ever in such a rage that he killed a human being? dawsongirl 08-27-2003, 04:56 AM I highly doubt that. Not for 70's/80s Primetime TV. Besides, like I think in the pilot, it was said that the Hulk is basically an extension of David, so if David wouldn't kill, the Hulk won't. TJL 09-05-2003, 10:09 PM Actually, during the course of the series, The Hulk was responsible for at least one death. In "The Psychic," Banner contemplates suicide when he learns The Hulk was responsible for the death of a man. Of course, the death was an accident. As Dawsongirl said, Banner was a good guy and therefore the Hulk wouldn't intentionally try to harm someone, but accidents happen. In the aforementioned episode David "thinks" the Hulk is responsible for the death of gang member Robbie Donner. However as it turns out, his friend was the person that struck the fatal blow in an alley. The closest the Hulk came to hurting anyone was in the episode "Darkside." In that story, David while experimenting with a drug to control the creature, unwittingly unleashes a Hulk capable of murder. Thankfully, the creature does not kill in this episode either. The Hulk does accidentally cause injury to someone in "Solitary Place," requiring the female doctor to perform surgery on the spot and redeem herself in the eyes of the boy's father. I checked epguides.com today and saw my goof. I should never have printed such lies about Dr. Banner.
