Did anybody here that Pedro Martinez is fed up with Boston and says that he wants to leave after next season when his contract is up. Good team Boston's got there.

Well, he could go to a team like San Francisco or Seattle. But, if he goes to the Yankees......:mad:

But hopefully, he will stay in Boston and continue to be the quality starting pitcher that he is.

Theo is a smart guy and I think that whatever decision he makes will be a smart (whether its trading pedro next year, or re-signing him) hes not going to let him walk, hes going to get something out of it, I love Pedro tho, Boston is such a hard town tho, for us fans if you win your god, but if you make an error you suck, theres really no middle road

i'm a huge fan for my home team, the red sox. i don't blame him at all...it's really rude when someone question's if your sick or not. he's human, he does get sick sometimes.
i don't think he'll leave boston though...

Yeah, I heard about that. He said he'd love to play for the Yankees next year.

the guy grew up in new york. he rooted for the yankess his whole life, of course he would want to play for them. it doesn't mean he will. i think manny's the kind of guy who goes to the team who offers him the most money.

yea can't forget games...but if it's games and money, the yankees aren't very good this season. they're still good, but not awesome like they have been in past seasons.

Exactly. Ever since Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill, Scott Brosious (sp?) left, the team has gone downhill. They were some of my favorite players....

That's when I started to like the Red Sox, when a lot of my favorite Yankees players stopped playing, or in the case of Tino, were traded. Then when I started to like the Sox, I realized what a fool I was for liking the Yankees ;)

Im from the Boston area, so I gotta be a Red Sox fan.. but I gotta love the Yankees.:heart: I agree though.. its all about the $$$.
