If Crystal Bernard doesn't want to be tied down to another TV sitcom, I can think of another type of TV show that she could do that would fit her personality perfectly:
What about a daytime talk show hosted by Crystal? I'm not talking about one of those sleazy "Jerry Springer"-type shows where endless lines of loudmouthed freaks are paraded before the public....I mean a light, pleasant talk show like "Regis and Kelly".
I could just see Crystal hosting that type of a show (Dinah Shore, another pleasant Southern gal, did very well with a similar talk show during the 1970's and 80's).
Crystal could also work her music into the show, singing one of her songs at the opening of the program, and we could see her great comedy timing again as she humorously reacted and interacted with some of her guests.
Here's a thought....Crystal could even bring an occassional former "Wings" co-star on the show to catch up on things. (Couldn't you just see Crystal bringing Tim Daly on as a guest, sitting down with him and asking, "So how've you been, Sweetie?")
Yes, the more I think about it, the more I think that Crystal would be an excellent (and very personable) daytime talk-show host!
