haha. You'll learn. If you want some tips I can give you some. Here is the guide to being a professional ebayer:

1. First look around and find things you would like to bid on, and save them into your watch page, so you can keep an eye on them at all times.
2. Dont bid on things until the last minutes of the auction. If you bid early, that gives time for other people to outbid you, and you will end up spending more money than you would have to.
3. Always contact the seller, just to get to know them.

With those three things you should be an ebayer in no time.:)

YAY! I won this sick thing off ebay. Its a mug shaped book 9"x12". Its 50 [ages of black and white photos from the show. They used to send this thing to different networks to try to get them to air cheers in syndication.

Its NOT the DVD cover, either this, or the DVD cover, is a touched up photo.

Probably the DVD cover, so Sam would blend in more with the color scheme of the case.

I just noticed that Coach's arm isnt on Sam's shoulder on the DVD.
But obviously, this ISNT a different picture.
Just a VERY good photoshop.

Wow I got the book today it is ****ing amazing. 275 pages of Cheers. Lots on each actor and lots on the show. Dedicated to Nicholas Colasanto. One of my favorite Cheers items for sure!

You guys want to know something weird?

In this Magazine there are pictures of the cast rehearsing their lines, or studying their lines. There is this one pic from "Rebecca Gaines, Rebecca Looses" where you see Kirstie in the dress with the up-do in the kitchen. She's kind of just rubbing her eyes and this Man( Ed Gallick) who has been part of the crew for all of the seasons is shown snapping the slate that says what scene and episode it is. And it hit me...Cheers was a show.. lol i kno it sounds weird but it just seemed so real to me, that one pic made me realize that it was a show put on every night by actors.....it's weird to think it's not real...lol

No, and i'm not some psycho, i know the difference between the ficticious and real world, but it's just that the photo blatenly underlined the fact that it was all fiction...

I saw a Cheers T-shirt the other day when I was thrift shopping. It was an ugly one, unfortunately (just a really boring one with a really small "Cheers" logo in one corner in the front), so I didn't buy it. :(

I'll see if I can find a pic like it on eBay...

OK, I didn't find a pic...but I found their online store.

Imagine that this T-shirt is light gray, with pink "sleeves" sewn to the inside of the sleeves, as well as inside the collar, too, to make it look like you have 2 T-shirts on, with a tinyass logo.

I looooove Cheers! It's one of my top faves...But my #1 fave is Mama's Family, and I have so much crap from that show. I even have an authentic Mama's Family script that was Vicki's (she autographed it). Now that's a fan for ya :crazy:

all i have is three shelley long movies and two cheers dvd sets. oh, and an overpriced cheers beer mug. but i think my eternal appreciation for the show is enough.

The games came out in seperate years. one was in 87' the other was in 93'. IN fact, later on tonight ill lay out all of my cheers stuff and take some pictures. I'll make a thread with em later.

The 93' one is alot like trivial pursuit. You ahve to answer questions and you move around the bar collecting colored chips. I like thisone alot, but the 87' one kicks ass too lol.

Thats not the case.
DVDs are always the cheapest the first week they are released.
Sometimes there are price-reductions.... but it hasnt happened with Cheers yet.

If I ever get up to boston I'll got to cheers and have like a major shopping spree!
