...what does "meangya" mean exactly? I can tell from reading it on here that it is some sort of expression, but I can't exactly figure out what it is all about. I'm such a dork! LOL. Is it a word that is known all over the place, or did someone from here bring it to SO? No one around my area has said it so I'm not sure where it came from either. :crazy:

I asked the same question about a half year ago. It took awhile, but I finally got an adequate answer. The best person to ask is Crystal, but what I was told is that it's Italian slang, for....how should I put this? A body part that men have and women don't.

Yes, tis I who enlightened the boards with 'meangya'. Meangya or (minchia :o ) is Italian for penis. For those Scott Baio fans, 'Chachi' can be said in place of it. Its said a lot around here, I was sure it was said all throughout. Guess not. I think some people have picked up on the meangya though. Im such a trendsetter. :triplets

Actually it's Mangiare=To Eat
Mangia=It Eats

I think the hardest part is teaching everyone to pronounce it the right way. :crazy: Mean-GYA. G is pronounced hard, and is not silent. :nonono: Mean='youre mean!' Gya= 'ya' with 'G' in front. Class dismissed.:)

Sometimes, I like to mix meangya up for added effect. 'Meaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangyaaaa' is good when you start to get frustrated. 'Oh meangya!' = omg:, *ugh* :rolleyes: meangya... just heard something you didnt want to (more homework, etc.). The possibilities are endless! :cheer:
